Knowing The Signs of Plumbing Trouble

After my house started to smell bad, I assumed that the scent was wafting from my teenager's room. Unfortunately, a careful inspection of the problem didn't turn up any results, so I knew I had a real problem on my hands. I asked a friend to come over to help me to find the source of the smell, and they immediately mentioned the smell of sewer gas. I realized that I needed to work with a professional plumber to get things resolved. I called out an expert, and they talked with me about the common signs of plumbing problems. Don't Drink Enough Water? 3 Ways To Help You Stay Hydrated

According to a study, 50% of people in America do not drink enough water. If you are part of this percentage, you need to make sure you find ways to stay hydrated. Water makes up over two-thirds of your body weight, and your brain is made up of 95% water. For these reasons, as well as many others, water is one of the most important things you can drink each day. If you are not drinking enough, below are some ways you can keep start drinking more water.

Get a Water Softener

One reason you may not drink enough water is that you simply do not like the way your water tastes. If so, a water softener can come to your rescue. A water softener can change the way your water tastes when compared to hard water. This is because hard water contains dissolved minerals, such as magnesium and calcium. Soft water is treated water that removes the dissolved minerals and has only ion, which is sodium. Water softeners also have many more benefits. If you are afraid that you will not like the taste of soft water, you can have a tap added to the water softener that will only bring hard water out of the tap, and keep the rest of the water softened.

Make Your Own Water Bottle

Get an empty water bottle and remove the label from it. Use a label maker or some tape and mark lines at the time you want to drink a certain time each day. This will allow you to see your drinking goals to make sure you make the goal each day. For example, you could mark a line that is 9:00 am and the next line could be 11:00 am, and continue on.  This will let you know if you are ahead of the goals or if you need to get caught up. Decorate your water bottle with permanent markers. Write an inspirational quote to yourself. You can also use stickers to make it fun. You will likely drink more if you like your water bottle.

Use a Timer

If you simply can't remember to drink water because your day is so busy, set timers on your smartphone every time you are supposed to drink. Each time the timer goes off, drink a glass of water. Hearing these alarms may get very annoying to you, so this may make yourself remember on your own so you can turn them off.

You will see a big difference in yourself once you drink enough water each day. It will make your skin glow, flush out bacteria and waste, and make you feel full so you will eat less.
